This business is not currently operating. These Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are subject to change and are not final. Once confirmed with a lawyer, they will almost certainly be updated.
Vybes Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Vybes, a dating service operated by [FULL LEGAL ENTITY NAME]. They explain account eligibility, acceptable use, content permissions, safety reporting, and the limits that apply to the service.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
Vybes is operated by [FULL LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered in [JURISDICTION] under number [COMPANY NUMBER], with its registered office at [ADDRESS]. Contact us at [SUPPORT EMAIL / POSTAL ADDRESS]. These Terms apply to the Vybes mobile app, website and related services (the “Service”). The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is part of the information you should read before using Vybes.
2. Accepting these Terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use Vybes. If you use Vybes for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it; otherwise, use Vybes only as an individual.
3. Who may use Vybes
You may use Vybes only if you are at least 18 years old, can form a binding contract, and are legally allowed to use the Service where you live. You must provide accurate age information and must not help a minor access Vybes. We may ask for proportionate age assurance and may suspend access while we investigate an age concern. [Confirm the actual age-assurance method and any verification vendor.]
4. Your account
Keep your login credentials confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Use one account for yourself, provide accurate information, and keep your profile reasonably current.
Do not impersonate another person or create an account for someone else without their permission.
You are responsible for activity on your account unless it resulted from our failure to use reasonable care or another legal responsibility we cannot exclude.
You can close your account through [IN-APP SETTINGS PATH] or request help at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. Account closure and data deletion are explained in the Privacy Policy.
5. Dating and personal safety
Vybes helps adults discover and communicate with other users. We do not conduct background checks on every user and cannot guarantee that a profile is accurate, that a user is who they say they are, or that any interaction or meeting will be safe or successful. Use your judgment, protect personal information, and take reasonable precautions before meeting anyone. Report suspicious, abusive or unsafe conduct promptly through the in-app reporting tools or [SAFETY CONTACT].
You are responsible for your decisions about interactions and meetings. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a duty or liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
6. Community rules and prohibited conduct
You must use Vybes lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
Use Vybes if you are under 18, target or solicit minors, groom a child, or facilitate a child’s sexual exploitation or abuse.
Create, upload, request, share or threaten to share child sexual abuse or exploitation material (CSAE), non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, or sexual content involving a minor. We remove this content, restrict accounts and make reports to relevant authorities where required or appropriate.
Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, blackmail, coerce, discriminate against or incite violence toward anyone.
Share another person’s private or identifying information without permission, or record, redistribute or publish private messages or content in a way that violates their rights or the law.
Use a false identity, misrepresent your age or intentions, impersonate someone, or use the Service to scam, defraud, advertise, solicit money, or promote an unauthorised business.
Upload content you do not have the rights to use, or content that is unlawful, hateful, exploitative, sexually explicit, violent, deceptive or otherwise violates these Terms or our [COMMUNITY STANDARDS URL].
Use bots, scrape profiles, collect information at scale, reverse engineer the Service, interfere with its security, or bypass a block, moderation action or technical restriction.
Use another person’s account, share account access, or use Vybes to arrange unlawful services or transactions.
We may publish additional Community Standards at [URL]. They must be consistent with these Terms and accessible in the app.
7. Reporting, moderation and enforcement
You can report a profile, message or other concern in the app using [REPORT FLOW]. Reports should include enough information for us to investigate. You may also block a user. [Confirm report categories, appeal route and support response channel.]
We may review content and account activity, using human review and [DESCRIBE VERIFIED AUTOMATED TOOLS, IF ANY], to investigate reports, protect users, address suspected fraud or abuse, comply with law and enforce these Terms. We may remove content, limit visibility or features, issue warnings, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve evidence, and report matters to law enforcement or child-protection authorities where appropriate or required.
Where reasonably practicable, we will tell you what action we took and how to appeal at [APPEAL ROUTE]. We may limit notice where it would compromise safety, an investigation or legal obligations. Our decisions will be proportionate to the circumstances and applicable law.
Vybes maintains a child-safety reporting route at [CHILD SAFETY CONTACT]. Users can report suspected child endangerment in the app. We act on confirmed CSAE in accordance with our public standards and applicable law. [Complete operational procedure and Play certification before launch.]
8. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create or upload, including profile text, photographs, videos and messages, to the extent you own it. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload it and to grant the licence below.
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical compatibility, display and transmit your content only as needed to operate, secure, moderate and improve the Service and to show your profile or messages to the people you choose to interact with. The licence ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, except for limited copies retained under the Privacy Policy, in backups for the stated period, or where required to preserve evidence or comply with law. We do not acquire ownership of your content.
You can change or remove profile content using [PROFILE CONTROLS]. Content already seen, copied, reported or saved by another user may not be recoverable from their device or screenshots. [Confirm whether users can save or download videos and disclose that behavior in the product.]
9. Our intellectual property
We or our licensors own the Service, its software, design, branding and materials, except for user content. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or reverse engineer the Service except where the law permits or we give written permission.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy at [PRIVACY POLICY URL] describes the personal information we collect, how we use it, who receives it, how long we keep it, and your choices and rights. Your sexual orientation, sex-life information and inferences may be sensitive personal information under data protection law. We will only process it on a valid legal ground and with a separate applicable condition for special category data.
11. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep Vybes available and secure, but we cannot promise uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or discontinue a feature for security, legal, operational or product reasons. If a change materially affects you, we will give reasonable notice where practicable and required by law. These Terms do not give us a right to make changes that remove mandatory consumer rights.
12. Fees, subscriptions and app stores
The Service is currently described as [FREE / INSERT CONFIRMED PRICING MODEL]. If we introduce paid features, we will show the price, billing interval, renewal and cancellation terms before purchase. Purchases made through Apple or Google may be subject to that store’s payment and refund terms.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Vybes and close your account at any time. We may restrict or end your access if we reasonably believe you breached these Terms, pose a safety or legal risk, or if we must do so by law. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a way to appeal. We may suspend access while investigating a serious or urgent concern.
When your account ends, your right to use the Service stops. We handle account data and content under the Privacy Policy, including any limited retention for safety, legal or security reasons. Terms that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual property, accrued payment obligations, and provisions needed to resolve disputes, will continue to apply.
14. Disclaimers
To the extent the law permits, the Service is provided without a promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every device, or result in a date, relationship or particular outcome. We do not guarantee the accuracy, conduct or intentions of users. This section does not affect any express promise we make, your statutory rights as a consumer, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. If you are a consumer, you retain all rights and remedies given by applicable consumer law.
Subject to the paragraph above and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these Terms. [Counsel to decide whether to include any fair, proportionate financial cap, with a clear amount and appropriate exceptions. Do not publish an unreviewed blanket cap or exclusion.]
16. Complaints and disputes
If you have a problem, contact us first at [SUPPORT EMAIL / POSTAL ADDRESS]. We will try to resolve it fairly. These Terms are governed by the laws of [ENGLAND AND WALES / OTHER JURISDICTION], but if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, mandatory protections and the right to bring a claim in your local courts remain unaffected. Nothing here prevents you from contacting a regulator or using a consumer dispute-resolution route available by law.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Vybes, our legal obligations or safety requirements. We will update the date below and give reasonable notice of material changes. Where law requires your agreement, we will ask for it. If you do not accept a material change, you can stop using the Service and close your account.
18. General terms
If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. If we do not enforce a provision immediately, that does not mean we waive it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a business transfer, subject to applicable law. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the agreement between you and us about use of Vybes, alongside any additional terms shown for a feature.
